Healthy-Do indicates health benefit as a new added value as well as food safety and security, high quality and delicious as existing brand image of Hokkaido.
"Healthy-Do" is a system established by the Hokkaido Government and it oversees food produced in Hokkaido that are scientifically researched to be beneficial for the human body.
Healthy-Do is an official label issued by Hokkaido Government to food products that contain health promoting ingredients. Food manufacturers in Hakkaido can obtain this certification label for their product if they meet the following conditions. First, the health promoting ingredients of the product should be either produced or manufactured in Hokkaido. Second, the health efficacy of at least one ingredient in the product should be scientifically proven. This means that clinical research on healthy volunteers should be conducted and the results which show efficacy and health benefits should be published in at least one peer reviewed journal.
The fact that there is at least one beer-reviewed article on human Intervention study means the test material is safe and having health benefit. |
