The Health & Nutrition Department continues to send excellent dietitians into society.Specifically, it puts emphasis on preventive medicine, and it has a management dietitian preparation course,a health science course and a food Development course.
The main display of our booth in this Exhibition is “Prevention of obesity by oral administration of histidine”research by Professor Shigeru Nakajima and his collaborators.This is the study based on the nutrition survey for human and animal experiment using rats.
His team examined histidine intake to prevent obesity. They show that dietary histidine may suppress food intake by activating histamine neuron. We will also display food products based on this study.
